Immerse yourself in the age old tradition of Somerset cider-making, in a joyfully-curated two night stay capturing the magic of apple harvest season this October.
At this time of year, orchards are erupting with flushing fruit and mesmeric colour, as harvesting for the Cyder Cellar gets underway. Wander the orchards with our experts to hand-select your own apples to transform into our county’s signature drop: cyder.
You’ll be guided through every step, from pressing the juice to fermenting in your own demi-john, to bring your estate-made cyder home. Suitable for curious beginners or apple aficionados both, this exclusive experience brings the art of alchemy, and cider-making to life.
Check in for two nights, over a selection of dates through October to experience all the best bits of a Newt stay, with Somerset cyder at its core.

Should you wish to cancel your reservation, where a minimum two weeks’ notice is provided, a refund will be arranged upon request, where a minimum of 72 hours' notice is provided, we will gladly hold any payment as credit to enable you to re-arrange your stay. Offer may not be available on the new stay dates.
Should the booking be cancelled with less than 72 hours’ notice, or in the event of non-arrival or early departure, full cancellations charges will apply.
