Join us as we mark the height of the farming year with animals at their best in the ring, our farmers proudly sharing their knowledge of land and livestock and a healthy dose of family fun. Taking place the first weekend in July, this estate stay blends country show traditions with a little bit of luxury. 3-nights minimum.

Apple Day Weekend 2026

A tribute to our orchards and the fruit at the heart of The Newt. Discover rare and heritage apple varieties, enjoy cyder tastings and behind-the-scenes glimpses into our pressing process, with apple-themed games, menus and entertainment. This weekend is all about the craft and flavour behind one of Somerset’s most iconic harvests. 3-night minimum stay. 

Fire Night 2026

As the nights draw in, gather with us for an atmospheric celebration of fire, light and storytelling. Fire performers, mulled cyder, hearty fare and a showstopping willow effigy bring energy and excitement to the gardens at night, as we set the tone for a jubilant autumn weekend. 3-night minimum stay.
